Hey Shaun, did you stab Tinker Bell with it when you were done or what?

KEN <> Your first Aoto slurry reminds me of the desert, and I see an abstract Japanese bamboo forest in your mukimono aoto shot.

I see the parallel in the nebulous horse head, as well. Now I can guarantee I will never look at the night sky the same again. SIde note: the most amazing night skies I've ever seen are out on the ocean many miles out of the eyeshot of land w/absolutely zero light pollution. I remember my most recent trips last summer whereas I COULD SEE THE MILKY WAY as clear as clouds in the day sky... so beautiful 150 miles offshore.

Love the cloudless nights offshore!!!!!! Yeah, you can see a lot of stuff out there at night when it's truly DARK out!

It gave my knife the power to chop through the fabric of space time, I actually posted this 10 years from now. I already know all the answers to everything.... ;)

AAnnndd someone needs a cup of coffee!

We totally got off of slurry art here. Hmmm.... it's been a while, maybe I'll try one out. BRB!

(edit: Got some great shots just now but going to be a minute, need a reboot on my PC but I'm in the middle of uploading a Masakage video.)

Thanks Steve, trying to temper my return as not to burn out too fast again lol!

Here's the pics I took earlier of a quick Shapton 500 session with the Fujiwara 270 carbon suji. Personally I think the 500 glass gives the best results for this type of picture, due to cutting ability mixed with a smooth white background.

Here's a bit of abstract stone art. I took these pictures of natural stones surfaces and did a bit of image processing, bringing out the characteristics and hidden beauty of the karasu pattern of this stone. The bright speculars are not normally visible perhaps suggesting that the abrasive power is not necessarily contained in the karasu itself.

Image

and another - reminds me of galaxies in the night sky. As if there are worlds and stars inside the stone ...
