Just to add my 2 cents to the post, many times I have put my 240 tojiro western deba through lamb rib bones, no problems yet! I can guarantee a chicken back bone will be no match for this knife!

Well, I'm sure there are indeed limits as to what kind of bone you can put a deba through. At what angle. Etc. Besides, most people don't blindly hack their chicken or turkey into unrecognizable pieces. Or so one would think. Especially, some one investing or has had a collection of JP knives for x# of years. Must have some cooking ability, knowledge and knife skill.
