A bunch of Classics, a few Premiers and a few Pro models lined up and ready for some Quick Look video reviews.

Ah Yes! SHOONS! Alton Browns Favorite knife! Of course he spends way more time in front of a camera than actually cooking anything these days.
Very popular on Flea Bay, just about every one up gets bids.
IMHO, they are overpriced. I can and have done better for the same $$$, and can get comparable for less $$
As they say in the auto business there is an ass for every seat, and a seat for every ass.
I am sure your videos will be well received, just not by me.

Value per dollar aside, that's a beautiful table. I wouldn't buy it. But I would play on it. ;)

I've been keeping an open mind and POV. It's been interesting seeing so many knives from one company. I found some nice surprises along the way.

Try not to be hatin' too much. They do have their place in the CKTG inventory.

It is my impression, granted I have handled, but not used them, that they are fine knives, just overpriced.

...of course they are also in considerable demand, so not having them in the CKTG inventory would just be foolish.

I have zero issues with the Shun Classics. Had a chef knife and pairing knife. Although I have since moved on from the chef knife the paring is still used frequently. I think they do a good job with VG10...keep in mind not everyone has the preferences for knife profiles. Some, myself included, dont like the masamoto KS profile that seems so prevalent.

I would rather see someone buy a shun than a cutco.

I love that Shun brings customers to CKTG. I love it even more when they browse the selection and end up getting something else.
