When I do/have done my Gokos I will try to save the handles, I like the chestnut handles but the ferrule has got to go!!!!!

+1 the handles after extended use aren't great. Weak point on an otherwise fantastic knife :)

Yep, my goko hammered damascus is only 3 weeks old and the handle has come off. No biggie, just tap it in every now and then till I get some epoxy. But the plastic ferrule...
