I know this forum is comprised of a mix of ppl from various backgrounds with a common obsession. But those who cook or run a kitchen, where do you do so? Is that an invasive question? I cook in NYC and have been for about 5 yrs. presently I am at Carbone. I live across the river in jersey.

I'm in a large corporation of high end steakhouses in Columbus, Ohio. Currently only a supervisor but the pay is livable and it gives me time to actually care about hobbies and life instead of working 80 hours a week and doing a lot of paperwork like I was doing in the past.

I'm currently the exec. chef at a growing winery in SJ. Along with that I am a chef at large, working catering and privately. I may take a summer job with a friend of mine in the trenches at the SJ shore. I used to work in AC and some in Philadelphia with Jose Garces.

Currently working in Minneapolis at La Belle Vie and filling in my days off staging and helping fill a hole at the country club where my wife is serving

I live and work in cottage country, muskoka Ontario. exec chef at small family resort and conference center, also do catering on the side. and well spend a lot of time on here with all of you
