It's a can opening tomato knife.
A lot of crap stainless came from Japan....probably just a junk knife.

cool. It was only 2 bucks and i just confirmed it works quite well on tomatoes and canned food. Somebody loved it enough to drill a hole to hang it o anyone ever have any luck finding cool knives at yardsales etc?.

Holy crap that knife is crazy.
And no, I've yet to find good knives at yardsales. Texas yardsales really suck.

I'm going to engrave one of my co-workers name into it, and throw it in with the knives at work. Hehehehe.

I've pulled some very cool knives from estate sales etc in Texas. My current project is a vintage dexter I picked up in Arkansas. Have to say good knives are needles in hay stacks here though (at garage sales, etc).
