Thank you for the explanation on the other day, I want de Doi, but in terms of stones, what do you recommend? I was thinking of 1000 grid and 8000, what do you think? or it makes more sense 1000, 5000 and then 8000 or higher for the knife that i´m going to buy?

The Chosera line of stones would be a good match for your new knife. I would suggest getting a medium grit and a high grit stone for sharpening your knife. 1K and 5K are a good set with this line.http://www.chefknivestogo.com/nach10grwast.htmlhttp://www.chefknivestogo.com/nach50grwast.html
There are 2 other accessories that will help as well. A stone holder is nice to have. It's not essential since you can put the stone on a damp dish towel but I think it's worth the small cost:http://www.chefknivestogo.com/nach50grwast.html
Finally a good flattening plate will help you keep your stones flat. I recommend the DMT XXC. It works really will and is very flat.http://www.chefknivestogo.com/dmtextracoarse.html
This item is also not completely necessary. You can flatten your stones with 120 grit wet dry sandpaper but the plate is what I use and I like it.
