What's a good 210mm Gyuto for a wedding gift?

Tue Oct 29, 2013 8:26 pm

Hi, I’m looking for a Western style 210 as a wedding gift. I was planning to get the Misono UX10 but found out the couple are mixed left/right handed. What’s the next best thing you have in this general price range? I’m looking for a stainless blade, but I’m open to western or Japanese handles.

Thanks!

Michael

Hi Michael,

For a good western, stainles, 210mm gyuto in the $200 price range I like this: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/hasrs15post2.html

For a good wa handled, stainless, 210mm gyuto in the $200 price range I like this: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/satadagy210.html

Here is another option for stainless wa: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/rila21.html

There are a bunch of others but I don't want to bog you down. Either one of these would make a great gift.
