Western 150mm Petty wanted

Fri Nov 29, 2013 6:46 pm

Mark I am looking for a 150 mm western style petty knife that is stainless steel. I do know how to sharpen, and I have been looking at your webstite obviously as well as Korin's website (they usually give us a nice percentage off) otherwise pretty expensive. I am looking around 120 or so

Charlie

This hiromoto is stainless clad with aogami super steel core so it's not entirely stainless but for the money it's an excellent little petty: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/hiromoto.html

This Haruyuki is a fantastic petty with excellent steel. It blows your budget but you should consider it.

This Maruyoshi has excellent grinds on the blade and it really cuts exceptionally well: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/hapakn.html

definitely check out the hiromoto, one of my favorites, but if 100 percent stainless is a must, check out the Suisin Inox.
