I think it's quite attractive. Different strokes!

Were these to be introduced as a 3 knife set (210 gyuto, nakiri, paring) and packaged in a matching block they would fly off the shelves of W-S.

Interesting, the feedback seems pretty ho-hum.

This checks some big boxes for a very specific niche. Namely, the pretty knife with good performance for a more entry level type person. I like the cladding, the handle looks very good, price is very good, the profile actually looks good considering the length, and I dig on H. Kato's knives. Downside, VG-10 is at best OK and the size is crap for my uses...it won't be in my knife block anytime soon, but it may well make one of my recs in the near future....I mean look at that grind!
