After being one of the first to sharpen and own the new 240 artifex out of marks brain design, he has pulled off a winner beyond winners, it's thin real thin I am actuall calling it a laser in sheeps clothing it will keep up with anything thing I have seen lately and I believe compared to the original the extra length was everything this knife needed it will slice thin, chop, dice, anything besides chopping through bone this knife will do, I have seen knives going for 3 times as much no where near close to what this knife is capable of if sharpened properly you have a laser at half the price. Peace, jmbullman

Mark's line of knives is really a great one, and the AEB-L is certainly a world-class steel. Great fit and finish, and as you said, worth 3x the price. If you need/want stainless and Western handle, this one is hard to beat.

Thanks for sharing JB..........
