It's not like the state needs the tax revenue or jobs. :) Texas has been courting them all summer. Rest assured the spicy red goodness will continue to flow.
How old is this news? The city council reached an agreement with the company late May to dismiss the public nuisance complaint.

Aaaahhh. OK Thank all that is good pure and holy. You're right.

Looks like on May 29 Sriracha was declared no longer a public nuisance.

Saw a bumper sticker the other day: My wife yes, my dog maybe, my hot sauce never!

And with good reason. Sriracha is a critical National Resource!

It must not be allowed to happen again! Those who forget the past..... (Are always happy watching reruns now that I think about it.)

No... But I have made Sriracha popsicles... You should try it. Wild experience. Your tongue wants to tell you it's burning but it's so darn cold....

Works with vanilla ice cream and jalapeños too.

I've made Srirachi Sorbet of which I reckon is similar to your popsicles.

My backup is a good sriracha recipe. If they stop making it for me I'll make it myself.

Yeah, I know. Even have one I like better some times. (I smoke my own habñeros and go more liquid and more vinegar).

But somehow there's nothing like simply going for that friendly green lid and knowing exactly what you're gonna get. Ya' know?
