Will it be more easy to get a sharp knife with the Bamboo 6000#. I do have the King 6000 large but I do not like the feedback from it. I have a Bamboo 4000# and find that much more smooth:)

Will it be more easy to get a sharp knife with the Bamboo 6000k? Probably not, but you will be more likely to keep your knives sharpened if you like the stones you have. ;)

Technique plays a role in this too. It's possible that the Bamboo stone will fit you better than the King, hence yielding better results, but you really need to demo it first hand to know. I didn't take to the King stone either when I had one. I wasn't able to achieve the same results on my Masamoto VG mule as I could with other stones in the same grit range. Trial and error my friend.
