so I have my pocket knife(s) to a very high polish thanks to all the advice i got from the people on this board.

but i notice that tissue scratch that polish and paper towels are even worse, shirts and such may wipe of finger prints and such but damage the polish and dull it

so there i was cleaning my Oakley glasses with there cleaning kit and it hit me........ if there case/cleaning clothes don't damage the coating on my glasses surly it would not damage the knife edge right?

oh man I now have a strop with me at all times that - cleans my glasses, knife AND does a good job of putting the fine edge back on the knife !!!

all there products work great on knives even the cleaning solution for the glasses work great !! I normally show of the knife cutting paper and I use the lens cleaning cloth to touch up the edge again and it does NOT hurt the polish on it.

does it work as good as my strop on the EP? no but it 90-95% for putting the edge back to cutting paper like i want it to.

try it !

Hey, it's fun thinking outside the box and trying new applications. Good work!
