I've been eyeing the Nubatama stone lately and wanted so understand a few things before giving them a try (freehand or via the EP).

Firstly, can someone explain the difference between the Bamboo and UME lines?

Secondly, I see that there's a variance within the Bamboo line, specifically with the 1K stone. There are 3 versions, white, gold, and blue (small). There's a noticeable price difference between the white and gold stones and I'm not clear as to what makes 1 premium and the other not, since they're both "Bamboos".

Lastly, why would the small 1K be a different color than the white or gold? Is it made of a different formulation than the other 2?

Thanks for the insight and clarification.

Thanks, Adam.

It's a start. I just found another thread in Ken's sub-forum that I'm hoping will spark some insight.

Cheers.
