You have to make a decision up front on whether you want to free hand sharpen or if you want to use the Edge Pro.
If you're interested in free hand sharepening I put together a sharpening set that provides you with pretty much all you need to get started: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/3pcstoneset.html
I did a bunch of free hand sharpening videos that are on the site. They should provide you with enough tips to get you off an running.http://www.chefknivestogo.com/knife-sha ... rials.html
If you want to give the Edge Pro a try I would suggest this set:http://www.chefknivestogo.com/edgeproapex3.html
The Chosera set we sell is a more expensive option that is very popular but I don't know if you want to spend that much. Also, with the set above you can get great results and you can always add to it later if you enjoy it.http://www.chefknivestogo.com/edge-pro-sharpener.html
