I live in the NC mountains and am within a few hours of Atlanta and a few cities in both NC and SC. Am wondering if anyone would teach me to freehand sharpen on stones. Just thinking it would be fun to learn and having someone teach me might alleviate any of the frustration of trying to do it on my own.

Side note: I will be going to Idaho on vacation at the end of the month. I think very near Washington (top tip of ID). Just in case anyone is out that way.

Just wobbling back and forth between the Edge Pro and thinking about freehand. I could bring my own old knives and stones if needed.
