Hmmm, any thoughts on 300mm vs 330mm as a sushi/sashimi knife?

I've got both lengths, and the 330 is the way to go, but only if you have the room.

I've always heard bigger is better. ;) I prefer 300mm over 270mm, haven't used 330mm.

I think 300 is the longest sensible length for many, restricted mainly by working room. Mine's a 360 and no complaints.

360mm? Geez. Do you have to take a break while sharpening it?

I feel like the 240mm length is probably underrated strictly for slicing after fabrication, but I've never used one. Anyone care to comment?

I do not make sushi at home, but I struggle to find a use for my 300mm suji as a home cook.

Mark, I really couldn't pick a length, as the ideal size depends on circumstances. I guess if you press me on it, 300 is a good all-around length. I had both a 240 and 270 and they were just too short.
