Hi Mark,

this time I'm in need of a 180mm deba. I'm kind of on a budget now, so I was looking at the Kiyotsuna Josaku and the Tanaka Kurouchi. They both go for the same $120. Which one would you recommend? Or is there a major difference between a cheaper and a more expensive deba?

Thanks

Gabor

The tanaka is carbon steel and the kiyotsuna is stainless.

If you can deal with carbon steel I would choose the tanaka.
