Hi all,

I'm looking for any reviews or info that I can get on the Konosuke HD version of the Richmond addict. I prefer a taller knife with a wa-handle, a thin(ner) blade, and no flex. I've read great things about the HD steel, and think it is exactly what I'm looking for (sharpening/edge characteristics of white #2, but semi-stainless - perfect for a professional environment). The problem is, with it being so expensive, I want to get as much information on it as possible before I drop that load. Any and all info and reviews will be greatly appreciated.

Hi John,

We've only sold about a dozen of them vs over a hundred sold for the CPM154 Addict so that's why there is less reviews and info on it. As you would expect, these are highly refined with great grinds and very good fit and finish. There's no big risk if you want to try it. I'll take it back with no re-stock fee if you don't like it for any reason.

That is incredibly reassuring. Thank you, Mark. I will likely be purchasing very soon.
