I'm looking to get a gift for my dad, whos a chef. I want to get him a gyuto, 240mm or 270mm. Price isn't an issue, as its a christmas gift and I want to get him something great.
I don't really know much about knives though. He sharpens his own now, and they're always sharp, so I'm guessing that you can take it that he can sharpen well. At the moment he uses a Wusthof chefs knife.
Would you be able to make me a few recommendations of chefs knives/gyutos that I should look into please?
I want the best; the knife that you would choose if you were getting one, money not an issue please
