Hello,
I have purchased several nice knives from you over the last year. We are building a small cabin in the woods and would like to get a small (5 or 7 piece) knife set for the cabin. Nothing fancy (does not have to be Japanese made), but a decent set for occasional use (two weekends a month). What do you recommend?
Thanks
Tim Lewallen

I'd think a three piece set would be ideal. A chef's knife, a sandwich (petty), and paring knife would cover virtually every cutting task you'd want.

Would be ideal in my opinion.

Add to that the Forschner steak knife set for $35.00 and I reckon you'd be set.

Hi Tim,

This 3pc Tojiro set is a good deal and you could add the Tojiro Bread knife to it and a block and that would be a good set.

Here's the block:

What do you cook and eat at the cabin? Sandwiches? Microwave food? Wild game?
