you are very welcome mr mammoth!
I know that blade well, I have 5 knives from that line, fantastic workhorse knives in a pro environment. Cheep great f+f and fantastic grinds for the price. Everyone should own at least one, its my go to brand for newbies to the Japanese knife realm! They have helped me convert a half dozen or so.

for me my favorite is prob my 270 suji in carbon, great knife for portioning out whole strips, carving rib roasts skinning and portioning salmon. 2nd place is my honesuki, then third is the 240 western deba (not currently listed w cktg) the gyuto is up there don't get me wrong. but I have lots of those and quite a few on the higher end side ( still not enough somehow in my mind? )
bottom line, these are imho the best knives out there as far as quality-cost ratio, perfect in a pro environment and at home! happy days
