Bombs were meant to explode and put metal everywhere...I can't imagine that particular steel being anything remarkable or resilient.

Unfortunately you are misinformed. The shells used are leaflet bombs and never exploded and the shells are cut, pulverised and turned into a powder before being made into a knife with additives for extra strength and they have been doing it since 1937. I sell more of the pocket knives to alaska and canada to the elk hunters and big bear hunters because cold was causing breakage on so of the bigger named knives, im actually backlogged on a couple for sharpening reasons and production due to the fact their hand made super chef Michael Bartley has several of mh knives and on my G11 asain slicer went 24 hours straight cutting on plastic boards for 24 hrs straight before having to lightly strop and kept on getting it. I hsve way to many sold to pro chefs who know my freehand edges and my belief in karma and a deeper understanding of zen to sell a junk product. I had 4 other big name manafactured come to ME wanting me to sell their products but I chose the Maestro wu for one reason I have a D7 chef over 18 Yeats old still kicking and I use every chance I can. I dont and wont sell junk I am leaving a legacy for my son since my days are numbered to sell junk and my truly freehand edges tell me there not junk. I will post a pic or two but this is marks site and you can go to JMBULLMAN2 on you tube and watch a 1,8 mm asain slicer go through a head of cabbage with one slice on a thin edge due its job well. Super chef Michael Bartley who will be doing appearances here and there on the food network buy several of my knives including the MA-2 and a G11 asain slicer and gave his sigimoto slicer to a sous chef. I've Bern backlogged on several numbers due to tge fact the work. Misinformation is the most dangerous thing out there. Ryan weeks the knife msker actually bought a BO-2 3,5 pocket knife with sheath and uses it. He had the same info you had and after seeing the A-6 dragon motif thin chef knife and the D13 actually email me and apologized that he had it wrong. Once again its kije everything else u ntill you try one you can't truly judge it on its merits and there are haters everywhere but something must be right Leo Mitchell likes thrm a long with my freehand edges and he's wicked edge man. I will post a couple of pics its not my site so I will only do a coupke one is the b-3 which was 2006 knife of the year in pocket knived the other is a true folded Damascus rockwell about 61 pocket knife snd the B-3 knife of the 2006 year and all come with embossed sheath. I can't change people's mind who have never tried owned one snd haters are everywhere but with my reputation bring your best assin slicer/cleaver or chef knife for Japan, j mught not win but ill kerp up but in the end I will win because your knife will cost twice as much as mine and ill keep right up with you or maybe surpass. Btw the santoku from maestro wu is the best or one of tge best selling knives in Germany they actually have a contract with Maestro Wu to be the first to get them off the line when its made. I can't change a hater but mucous abd video on you tube speak for themselves. Heres a couple pics first is bo-2 Damascus abd the b-3 and ill decide after that. There's two ways to judge a good steak my friend trust the butcher or stick your head in the bulls rear and judge for yourself. Personally im trusting the butcher. Jmbullman
