In my oven: 11 lb turkey (I got it for about $10) stuffed with sage, thyme, and garlic. That's a lot more than my normal salt-n-pepper mix, but here's to trying new things this year
Side items for later: Mirliton and Shrimp dressing, Oyster dressing (those 2 are staples for Louisiana Thanksgiving), homemade bread pudding, sweet potato casserole (pretty much sweet potato pie in a dish topped with praline) and who knows what else. Stomach is a-growling already, time to start "testing" things....
What is everyone having today?
