Shosui is a very nice guy from what I hear.
However, I've heard any where from 61 to 65 for his original knives with the consensus being in the higher area of that range.
I've been in contact with Shosui before (ordering knives) and indeed he's a really nice guy
I've asked him on twitter, but he's a bit busy with a department store sale he's doing, haven't had an answer as of yet.

Thanks Mark, I supposed it was (about) the same as the stainless clad knives he's making.
I started wondering about the Hardness because of an article on zknives.com about Aogami #1, #2 and AS, where Takeda's are mentioned as 61 HRC
. According to the article the AS has better wear resistance compared to the #1 and #2 though.
