I'm not talking about the kind where you stick an aerosol can and it simply warms it up. I'm talking about the proper old-school style.

No, I mean machines that are used in barber shops. Like Campbell's, Latherking, Lather Time, etc. The ones you put liquid soap in, and it produces a thick, warm, dense microfoam. Another term for them is "latherizer".
