I am hoping some of you straight razor users can recommend a good strop that won't break the bank. I have been using a straight for about a year with good results and have been stropping on a vintage piece of leather with various nics and tears in it, and a paddle strop with CO.
I cannot help but to think my shaves may be even better if I had an appropriate strop.
What are you using for your straights, and would you recommend it?

I also prefer nanocloth and 'roo strops. I find the bench strops more versatile for both knives and razors. Available on CKTG in sizes from 3x11 to 1x6" in size. I keep a 1x6" roo strop for touchups in my medicine cabinet with some 0.025 micron poly and use it right before shaving while the water is heating up.
I have a Tony Miller Steer hide. It is a no frills model. Leather and linen, no d-rings or handle. It works for my razors. It was inexpensive but looked a lot better than the whipped dog poor man's strop I learned on.
