Just in the past 2 days, CKTGF has been taking about 15-20 seconds to load any and every page, and it's just a blank white page, saying it is "Waiting for d1.openx.org..."

Might be a serious problem, but it is at least very annoying.

I have recognized the same. Ironically, another forum I am a member of was hacked and all passwords were compromised. I chose to change any account said password was affiliated with the same username as a precaution. My identity has been stolen three times... I'd care not for a 4th. :x

I haven't noticed any slow downs on my laptops and PC.

Hope it was just a minor glitch.

MICHIEL <> I'm still online with Eamon. ;)

I will add that in concert with this phenomena, my iPad has begun showing me "pop-ups" as a page flip. I have never experienced that before in years of an iPad. I have a friend who works for Apple in Cupertino & he explained it is nearly guaranteed to be a site driven issue. A feature added by the site to generate income from ads. I just donated to the site to be rid of advertisements... :| :| :|

No slowdowns noticed by me neither...???

I haven't noticed these issues either. It might be related to the forum software server having some slight issues, but I could not find any documentation on such an issue.

At the time this post originated I was having trouble also, as were a few others. Seems like it was a temporary glitch.

IF the site is still running slow, then you need to see about how many browser add-ons you have running.

Late in to this thread, but figured I'd share. If you have Microsoft, I'd recommend running Microsoft Security Essentials. For spyware you can run Spybot or Malwarebytes (or both), I also run CCleaner for system maintenance.

Spybot (free)- http://www.safer-networking.org/dl/
Malwarebytes (free)- http://www.malwarebytes.org/
CCleaner(free)- http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER

Might want to make a new thread since this one isn't really pertaining to your issue, this thread is about possible virus/spyware issues.

What makes you think they were from a forum admin? If the message was from one of the mods, I'd recommend making an attn thread asking them if they sent it (the pm will show who it was from), if you have not gotten a response back from them via pm.

Edit, you may want to consider taking a screenshot and sending it to either Mark, or a mod. I believe the only admin here is Mark (besides the default admin account), the rest are forum mods and may not have the access permissions to help you.
