I got the knife ordered. Now all I need is a good flattening stone for my edge pro stock stones. I'm not looking for anything super expensive or nice since they are the stock stones. I'm assuming I will need a special some to do my glass Sharpton 6k stone when the time comes.

Thanks

I started with and still use the 2x6 double sided DMT diamond plate for flattening all my EP stones. It works great: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/dmt2x6diplfo.html

Hi:

The least expensive option is http://www.chefknivestogo.com/140grdistflp.html

I have and like this.http://www.chefknivestogo.com/xxcdiplandun.html
I set it on between the two kitchen sinks and gently run water over the plate as I flatten.
It flattens everything from Nubatama 150 to Shapton Glass 8K.

If you ever want to strop or free hand this set is a good value. http://www.chefknivestogo.com/stsetwiunhob.html
