Thanks Mark, my next question from looking at your web site is you offer 10 glass stones for the Edge Pro from Shapton, how many of these would you recommend as you don't offer a set as you do for the Chosera? Is it possible to have a set put together? Also I have the Edge Pro Professional model and I assume that the stones would fit that model. Thanks Mark.

Here is a good and full progression for the Edge Pro that will work for most anything. Some guys will add them all but I don't think it's necessary. I sharpen all the time with 3 stones and for the glass stones those are 500, 1K, 4k.

But this would be a more conventional set and you could easily do without the 16K if you wanted to lose 1 stone.

320
500
1k
4k
8k
16k

Leave the 16k & include the 2k - very good double up progression...

:)

I would add the 2k and drop the 16k. Dropping the 16k will save you a lot of $. 8k is as far as you will ever need to go unless your just nuts like most of us.

BTW I got a shit load of the 2ks on this next order so they won't run out this time for at least 6 months.

Good on the 2k. I have an email notification set for when they arrive. I'm in a little different boat. Edge Pro newbie here. I selected the 2k, 4k, and 8k stones to compliment my existing Edge Pro stones and eliminate the polishing tapes. The 4k and 8k are on the way. I have the drill stop so I can deal with the difference in thickness.
