Hi

Does anyone know where I could advertise this? I wouldn't think sticking it on eBay would work that well as it's such a niche product.

many thanks

Have faith brother!
If you keep asking questions, you'll get some good answers here and you'll wind up having some awesomely sharp knives.

You first asked about professional training here on 11/03. If you don't want to keep trying I'm sure that EBay will work for you but keep at it and your veggies will fear you
If it's any consolation it took me a good month and some practice to make scary edges. - I was using too much pressure and working each side too long - throw in not keeping the stones flat and it was frustrating. Now I can hear as well as feel what stone I'm using with a blindfold on.

Hi DB,

+1 to Douglas above but if you're determined to sell it you could try the "Classifieds" section at the bottom of the Board Index page of this forum <http://www.chefknivestogoforum.com/classifieds-f16.html>

I have gotten great results selling EP gear on eBay, often to counties outside of the US-EU-ABC sphere of influence. For some reason people from those countries will pay top dollar plus shipping.

Of course it is a nice courtesy to offer the gear to like minded people on these forums. But if it doesn't move, hike the price 20% and sell it as a fixed price offering on eBay. That's my game plan with the diamond plates I am currently offering in the classifieds, after giving my CKtG brethren first dibs.

Cheers,

Rick
