Shapton and I have been talking about this forever but I now think this is going to happen. These will be made at the factory for us exclusively and we should have some soon. Crossing my fingers that this is popular. I had to swing the big bat to make this happen. Stay tuned.

I'm getting the full range from 120 through 30,000.

I asked them to make them thick at 6mm. They said there may be a little variation of up to .3mm on different sizes but they will try and hit 6mm.

What kind of progression would you like to see in a put together set? I'm thinking at least 5 stones. Based on the larger stone popularity I was thinking:

320
500
1K
4K
8K
16K

Big fan of the 2k. I'd love it!

I can't believe this is actually happening.

That's funny Mike. :)

Here's a page I set up for the complete set. Pricing is an estimate so it may change before we start selling them.

Personally I think that set is awesome, but it's missing the 2k.

I've sharpened piles of knives using this exact same progression, with and without the 2k. The 2k makes a difference IMO, and shouldn't be left out if you can get it. Going from 1k to 4k just does work, but it just takes a little longer, of course.

This is a really exciting topic, because I think these GlassStones are going to destroy the EP market. Not really sure if I've tried any stones that are faster.... love em love em!!

Hi Rookie,

If I could get them thicker I would but they should be priced well at this thickness.
