What's your pleasure? We have a bunch of hot sauces in our fridge. The ones we use a lot are Huy Fong, Cholula and Tabasco.

Shaun sent me some and I'm afraid to try them. They have scarry names on them with skull and cross bones on the labels.

Tabasco Habanero version.

At least it is still edible.

:)

Tabasco Habanero is quite good, but I like a sauce Tom sent me from Taiwan more. No Idea what's in it, but it's insanely hot. Love the stuff!

Mark, I have no clue how hot those sauces are, you should exercise extreme caution!

Being from Louisiana you'd probably expect me to say Tabasco... well.. it's not. My favorite at the moment is Sriracha. Lots of sweet pepper flavor, heat, and none of that pesky vinegar.

Cholula has it in my book, simple, basic, good flavor, easy to obtain and works on everything.

I always have several in my fridge. Currently there is Sriracha, Louisiana Gold, Valentina ( a really tasty and cheap Mexican sauce) and my homemade pickled halapenos.

I agree with the consensus: all of the Huy Fong sauces are awesome. Their Sriracha, their Sambal Oelek, their Tuong Ot Toi are all awesome.

Check these out... :P :P ;)

I love the Huy Fong line-up. I am almost to the point of being able to drink Sriracha. They have another Sambal... called Sambal Badjak that is just simply divine. It is almost black and quite sweet.

WATSON. <> :) Big thanks for the heads up! I have yet to see it. I wonder if it's a black garlic base.?! They love playing with fermented product...

i'm a big chili head. i grow my own and make my own hot sauce. well, rather, grew my own. my garden beds are resting from growing any peppers at the moment. crop rotation and all that.

i really prefer the hotter the better. i've grown the hottest peppers out there. name it, i've grown it. seeds are pretty easy to get into my country. so it wasn't really an issue of how i could get them, it's more like how much i can grow and if i can grow them at all.

i really like sriracha for it's mildness and big flavor. tabasco is still a big staple for me, and the habanero version too. cholula's pretty good too. frank's hot sauce is pretty pedestrian for me, but it gets the job done.
