Well, I couldn't decide on a 4th Laminate color, so I went with the runner up in the Wa handle poll! I used Blaze Orange and Cream Burlap, all pulled apart into individual strands for this handle. The material compresses a bit more, so when I split the block, the scales were a touch on the narrow side, so I added a red liner to them.

I found a new abrasive for working this material, too!! It's called Abranet and is a cushioned mesh abrasive, so it doesn't clog up. Worked great and I took it to 600 finish and it's nice and silky smooth.

Whats "boet"??

I got the abrasives figured out a bit better now and by using a very hard rubber as a sanding backer instead of cork, the pins sand down the same as the handle :)

I have the Traditional Camo and the Water Camo epoxied and I am working on shaping them out currently. I used natural Micarta (browish) pins for the Traditional Camo and Black Micarta pins for the Water Camo since it already had some black in it, so those should sand just like the laminate stuff I make :)
