Just finished this one up today! I used some flannel Water Camo handle material for the handle and the custom wanted a saya in the same colors as the Water Camo, so I made up 2 pieces of straight stacked laminate for the saya and used Basswood for the spacer. I was going to carve out the blade cavity and put a piece of basswood to protect the edge, but the material was way too hard to chisel out; it kept bending the edge up after 1 or 2 little pieces were taken out.
