Got to get some work done on this pile of blades this week! Split the handle blocks a couple days ago, flattened them, cut the liner material, epoxied the liners to the handle. Cut the 8, 12" long rods of Mosaic pins into 64 individual pins, then flattened the heads so I can see the pattern to align them, then beveled the ends of the head so they won't split the handle material. Phew, busy day!!
Pins ($220 worth!!!), drill bits, epoxy:
30 sets of handle scales with red or yellow liners:
Tomorrow I will start drilling the pin holes, cutting the handle slabs to shape and hopefully getting to shape/polish the fronts to prep them for epoxying.
