Several months ago I decided to explore getting knives as sharp as I possibly could. I was already getting them very very sharp. Communicating with Ken via email and phone he led me to products that I am now getting my knives sharper than they need to be. Meaning a pocket knife finished with a 2k stone is plenty sharp enough. But if I continue through the grit progression to a CBN .5 micron strop or a bare kangaroo strop the edge is noticable sharper when slicing phone book paper. This difference isn't as noticable when cutting things during the day depending on what you are cutting. But if you need a really smooth razor sharp edge Ken's advice is good as are his products along with the other CKTG products.
Thanks Ken for all your help.
