So when I was at Shosui's shop he told me that he was planning on switching his clad material to stainless. These should be available toward the end of the year and the switch over should be complete next year. Prices are going to be a little higher than the current version but it shouldn't be that much more.

I see you've got prices up for some of the pieces and it didn't look like a huge difference in price.
Any impressions on how the stainless-clad knives feel/perform compared to the kurouchi ones?

There is a slight difference in appearance of the Kurouchi. It's a little more uniform.
Most of the benefit of the new series is rust protection.

I see that stock is available on these now.
If people have tried these, I'd appreciate impressions about either how similar the stainless-clad knives are to the "classic" versions, or what the perceived differences might be.
