I own the 250 KS. The KU finish came of very quickly on my knife, and that ocurred with fairly gentle use and washing. That said, the thing cuts great and the shape is very similar to the killer French Sabatier 10 inch which is a classic in my mind. Beyond that, I have had no problem with any rust without the finish. Great knife, go with it!
PS, handle is really well made too!

Well, we have lots of feedback that the Moritaka 250 KS is a great knife. Anybody with a Sasanoha want to chime in?? I think I like both, but aesthetically I find myself drawn to the Takeda. Would like to hear some first-hand accounts of use with the shorter profile though!
