Great work Sean.
Any idea when you might get to doing the Wa handled version?

Aloha!

Shipped this morning, arriving Thursday, but like I said it'll probably be a day or so until they go on sale.

Wa handles within the next month. I've got more steel on the way as we speak, there might be a couple of testers come out shortly in wa-format. I'll keep you guys posted for sure, today I just cut the last of my blanks and am getting ready for heat treating tomorrow.

I'm really looking forward to seeing these. But take your time, I need a short break from things to lust after.

Easiest time I've ever had with convincing the girlfriend that I need another knife. Show her picture "it's purple!!! buy it".

When are we going to see a famous moniker etched on those knives?!

I definitely need one of Shaun's knives engraved with the words "Knife Fanatic". I can just point to it to explain to people when they see my collection.

Famous moniker? HA!

It was my decision to leave this last batch without. I didn't want to rush and put out something that I didn't like. BUT, those were the last without logos. More steel is on the way, should have shipped today, but I will be on vacation for the next week, so there won't be another batch for about 2 weeks. I'm making a wa-handled one today as well as a Western. Both have been heat treated and tempered.

As far as the logo, I'm thinking more or less just using my last name. I'm not sure I want the words "knife fanatic" on my blades. That would be like anyone here using their Screen name as their real name. Just seems kinda cheesy to me. No offense! :)

Here's a cool shot I took today, I love the look of a blade after the carbon blows off sometimes.

Finally got a chance to catch up on your work after a couple months away. So inspiring! I'm really excited to try out one of your knives. Not sure when I'll finally be able to get one (given the high demand and all), but I know it will be a special purchase when I do. Congrats on all of your success so far!

As a future, hopefully very soon, owner ;) I vote for no "knife fanatic" just your name.

Oh I agree, I was just kidding. Your name or a stylized "F" of some kind would be professional and more than sufficient.
