I also jumped straight on the link to find they had all gone.
Just stoked that Shaun is going to be making more.
At the same price I hope ;)

Shaun are you still planning on a Wa handle variant?

Aloha!

Aloha! Wow, it's very nice to come and read this thread after a long day. I'm making more and at the same price. :)

Also we are going to go ahead with the wa-handle variant, that batch gets started early August as well. I'm going to have Isaiah do the handles most likely to save on time and ensure a good product, but the rest of the Western handled ones will be done by me.

Here's a few shots from today of getting handles lined up. They get glued up with 2-ton epoxy first, then the bolts after, then the whole package gets shaped together.

Thanks Jeff. Sorry I deleted my post from last night, I was tired and rambling I felt, kind of took away from the thread. Here's pics of the pins going in. 3/16" rods of either brass or nickel/silver. Shaping begins in a few hours after this sets. Until then I have cleanup and more blanks to grind. :)

So a question about process. Have you been making larger batches than before? How doe this change how you work with each knife?

I actually don't do anything different from a small batch other than make more knives. :)

Each and every blade is heat treated, ground, and handled the same way.

Awesome Shaun! I love that pic of the blades lined up like the next Wolverine upgrade or something with the green tipped A clamps :-).
