Got 6 of the next 8 blades ground and heat treated. Hope to have handles and everything done by Thursday.

Here's all the spine and choil shots before spine rounding and sharpening. I don't put edges on until the very end now, used to put them on earlier and tape the blade up but this is safer. All knives are ground as close as I can possibly make them. So far I'm happy with the consistency, just wish I could get them done faster! :D

Please forgive small inconsistency holding the blades on the choil shot, it was hard to hold 6 blades together exactly the same, although I did get them close for you.

Here's a shot with calipers on a blade to give you a better idea. Each one is ground to about 8 or 9 thousands behind the edge before sharpening.

Here's the next 8 all ground, handles getting put on tomorrow and finished Thursday.

Got word from Mark that the last 4 sold, so I'm very happy today. I'll continue to crank these out as long as people buy them.

The big batch of 100 gets started early August, but until then I've got these 8 and about 4 or 5 more for next week. Then a small vacation and back to the grind.

Yeah, I'm actually a little frustrated at how fast those four sold. My shift was some three times longer than their period of availability. Your knives are apparently underpriced.

Got email about them being back in to stock while out shopping. Walked round the shops telling the girlfriend about how awesome the knife is and the benefits of 52100 ( which she was totally thrilled to hear about ). Get home out of stock :( so feel your pain Lepus.

We had 50 people on the email waiting list which is why they went fast. Sorry about getting left behind. Shaun is going to keep banging them out so you will have lots of opportunities to get one.

Good news there Mark just got to wait till there in stock again and work out what else to order now to justify shipping. Think I need to move to the US just to save on postage costs.

Oh, no, on reflection it's really for the best. He's clearly ramping up production on these bad boys and I'm in no hurry. I'm actually quite glad they're priced as they are.
