All I can say thus far, is that is was a pleasure to meet Guy, and that I know I will be having nightmares tonight to honor the trust in me to deal with a really superb unit.....

MCKEMAUS <> It is in the Annona family. The particular one shown is a.k.a. Cherimoya. There are Atemoyas, as well (awesome hybrids of a "custard apple" & a "sugar apple"). The sugar apples are Annona Squamosa. South American Guanabanas (a.k.a. soursop) are Annona Reticulata. There are North American indigenous Paw Paws, as well. I really love the fruit, and grow them in my yard... thus, my botanical knowledge.. stemming from my culinary background.

ROOK <> You got a bad one because they are sugar disguised as fruit. Just beware the seeds, toxic to canines if you have any.

You're welcome.

Honestly, looking at it again... it doesn't even look close to ripe. When it's ripe; it's pretty dark & it's soft as custard, hence the name.
