I also lives in Vancouver. Regarding tariff, The times I ordered from CKtG, I wasn't charged additional tariff by Canadian custom. It did happened once before with items similar to what I ordered from CKtG, before I found the site. My guess is the tariff depends if you caught the Custom Canada agent on a good day or not.

So far, the deliveries always have taken about a week (again.... A lot depend on how fast Canada Custom clear the package.). They shipped them to with FedEx ground. CKtG shipped them out really quickly and packed the package very carefully. I am very satisfied the process and their service.

International

Sorry for the confusion. I was thinking of my last few orders and typed in the wrong shipping method. I have ordered International from them before, but for the last few orders, I have been shipping them to my friend's place in Washington, to take advantage of their free us shipping.

Everything else I mentioned in last post about shipping time applied to my previous orders, shipped vis International to my home here. It was just too early for me. Sorry :)

I know this comes a year and a bit late, but for others browsing, I have used the Letter Carrier in Pt. Roberts. Not just for knives, but all kinds of stuff (sous vide set up, a gigantic chamber vacuum, a pair of sandles, etc). It couldn't be easier really.

There are lots of alternatives to the Letter Carrier, as I understand they are shutting down.

Cheers,

Mark
