Sharpening at The Farmer's Market

Tue Jun 05, 2012 8:51 pm

It looks like I'll be setting up shop at the Outdoor Public Market in the Third Ward area of Milwaukee. It's adjacent to downtown and is chuck full of foodies. I'll be sharpening every Saturday and one Thursday night a month.

With that being said, Mark I need a good stone flattener ASAP.

Hi Scott,

That's a cool idea. We'll come down some Saturday and say hi.

Get a DMT XXC. That's what I use and I like it. I have them in stock.

I didn't want him to have to get a hand truck to move that thing around. :)

I actually sharpen on a hand truck at a Farmer's Market. Well, not just a hand truck. It's one of these:

What are you bringing to sharpen with? You ready to see a stack of chipped Calphalons?

I think I've discovered the magic setup for sharpening beaters like this.
