I agree and plan to buy a set of balljoint arms and the low angle adapter as soon as they are available. I also got the 800/1000 diamond stones and have ordered the 1200/1600 ceramics from old stock from a Michagin dealer as well. Yesterday the 1000 diamonds after several hours could not clean up the 15degree bevel an old Mondial 10" chef knife, the high carbon stainless is too resistant. I will buy the 59/80 ultra coarse diamonds when you have them in stock. I'll wait before trying the 12" Mondial.

I have been polishing after the 1000 with 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500 and 3000 grit wet/dry sandpaper tape and 1micron mylar film taped to the 1000 diamond.

Great working edges take much less time (except the Mondial monsters) now that the stones have broken in.
