Michiel, I have only sharpened about 40 knives where I included the Imanishi 4k in my lineup, no dishing at all so far, the 8K is the same of course, no hint of any dishing whatsoever. I was quite surprised/pleased with the results of these stones. You know that wonderful feeling that you get when you use the 1k Chosera, well that sensation is repeated with these stones. I have no regrets.
Someday, I will definitely try out the Nubatama stones (Ken has not led me astray yet) and the Suehiro Rika 5k, those are on my bucket list.
