Shapening stones for shuns.

Hi,
I am interested in purchasing some stones from you and would like some direction. I have basic Shun chefs knife, pairing etc. I would like to buy a combo stone or something easy to use but not sure what grit levels to get. 400/6000, 250/1200, etc. Not sure of basic what would be the 2 best levels to have.

Any guidance you can provide would be appreciated.

Hi Alex,

The Shapton Glass Stones work really well and are easy to use. They require no soaking and are nice and hard so they don't gouge. Try this pair:
