A 210mm wa-petty. I've found to be about the most used knife I have besides a gyuto. Find a thin one......Kono HD or Suisin Inox Honyaki
Narrow profile gyuto ala the Masamoto KS wa gyuto's
A true laser 240mm gyuto......the Kono HD would be ideal as it gets you both a laser and a new steel to try
If not the Kono HD for a laser, find a different good tool steel knife. But, why.....just get the Kono HD.
I use my honesuki a lot.....find a nice carbon version.
The last option I'll propose is probably the route I'd take. Go high end. Kono Fujiyama, Fujiwara Teruyasu, true honyaki, etc.
Your suggestions are well taken
I am planning a 3 step approach
First: A good 150MM Petty, I will wait until the Kono HD is back in stock.
Second: A nice carbon Honesuki
Third: A high end 240MM Gyuto, Which I can acquire after selling off at least one of the 240's I already have.
Honestly, I am running out of places to put them!

I have plenty of room for them. I'll send my address in a PM.

LMAO @Leptus - I have a brand new kitchen devoid of quality knives, I have more than enough room for whatever Leptus can't use!

No worries. I forgive at no cost. Again, though, knives are appreciated.

In response to Steve G and Adam Marr's recommendation.
I just ordered the Kono HD2 150MM Petty.
The only Petty I have is a cheap VG 10 Seto, so I know I will enjoy a nice one.
Next I am going to find a nice carbon Honsuki, I am on the email list for some already.
As far as a 240MM true laser, that would be nice but I already own a 210MM Laser, and two 240MM Gyutos.
In the future I might decide to trade up on the Gyutos and get myself a high end piece.
Thanks for the advice guys.
